Team in Teams: organizing channels

My channels are stuck in alphabetical order. What's the best fix? Should I rewrite all my titles so the list is in alphabetical order, that seems like a dumb solution but Teams is not letting me communicate properly? I don't understand why a communication tool doesn't let me communicate effectively.

It's not a fresh idea because there's a 100 posts already, 5 are mine. It's just design negligence.

I think the solution is no solution. We just can't communicate effectivly. I have three channels and the important and first one will just have to be third. The first one should not exist and there's nothing I can do. I can't delete it or rename it, and it'a always first (I'm sure well all agree "General" is just bad design).

I don't have the ability to get rid of MS as we should be doing, so I think we just don't get to communicate very well and there's nothing we can do.

    Hi Eric,

I'm sorry to hear that the current features of Teams do not fit your daily requirements. Your feedback regarding the organization of channels is very important, I'm sure there are other users as well who would benefit from it if it will be implemented.

Nevertheless, allow me to share this channel where all the feedback is posted. Feel free to share this as a fresh idea. Please make sure to upvote the feedback that you think would make the app better for a higher chance of them being implemented in future updates.

If you have other questions, just let me know. Have a wonderful day!

Sorry, MS has terrible semantics so I can understand why this is confusing to try to describe. Teams is the app, a Team is the team in the "teams" tab. And channels are inside each team -- the channels are the ones that I'm struggling to organize as they organized themselves in alphbetical order which doesn't make any sense. The above only moves a team in Teams on my and has nothing to do with content. The goal it so be able to organized the content so other people are't confused -- which is already an uphill battle in Teams. Unless Im wrong, it appears it's not possible to organize the content at all, so I'm wondering if people actually use a Team in Teams for content? We will not be using Sharepoint for a number of reasons (mostly inabily to organize, but also nobody will ever go to a Sharepoint page and I don't blame them.)

I know the only way to organize the tabs at the top is to delete them all and start over because they can only be in chronological order, so I wonder if the channels are equally poorly designed/implemented.

Is it simply impossible to organize content in Teams?
