As you can see below, the video setting in MS Teams is disabled. When I hover my arrow to choose a camera, I see the warning sign. None of the other settings have this problem. How do I fix this? I have checked my Macbook privacy settings and it's set to allow access.

    Hello Ant,

My name is Joanna, I’ll be happy to help you out today.

    A. Have you try the following:

    1. Unistall and install the app
    2. Clear Cache

    Clear Teams cache in macOS

If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the dock, and then select Quit, or press Command (⌘)-Q.

In the Finder, open the /Applications/Utilities folder, and then double-click Terminal.

Enter the following command, and then press Return:

    rm -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/Microsoft/Teams

    Restart Teams.

    B. Check if your camera is in use

To make sure you can use your camera in Teams:

Close all other apps that might be using your camera (like Skype or FaceTime).

If you’re using an external camera, try unplugging it and plugging it back in.

You can often save time and effort by restarting your device.

    C. Check your app permissions

You might need to change one of your device permissions.

    Open System Preferences

    Select Security & Privacy

Under Privacy, choose Camera on the left

Make sure Microsoft Teams is selected

Close all apps and restart your device

Note: These settings only apply to Mac OS 10.14 and higher.

Please let me know if this doesn't work or if you need further assistance.

    Thank you.

Had the same issue and can confirm that executing the "rm -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/Microsoft/Teams" command did the trick!
