What settings need to be changed to enable api key availability?

on desktop version of teams, In settings->Privacy, below the microsoft privacy statement there should be a section for

"Third-party app API" with a button to "Manage API".

I do not have this settings in teams, so I assume a setting needs to be changed on admin.teams.microsoft.com
but I can't find anything that would enable it.

I'd attach an image but the image attachment just says "failed to upload image"

That is incorrect and it is not the solution as of Feb 5th 2023.

Yesterday Microsoft made a change in Teams that eliminated the Settings/Privacy/Manage API and broke all tools that integrate through 3rd party API Keys

    Awaiting a fix from Microsoft.

The API option is NOT available in the latest version (the major Team rebuild)

I will post here as soon as this is reenabled.

According to Microsoft, it will be next quarter.

I have seen this and the solution was to logoff from the desktop Teams app and relogon to the Teams App.

So to be clear, logout the Teams App and then Logon again (not restarting Teams)

Then the API setting was back under the privacy options.

Also works for updating you Teams profile photo, or wait several days.

Just one for the troubleshooting toolbox; completely logout Teams and try again :)
