Channels 2.0 - turn off thread notifications

How can I turn off notifications for a thread that I have replied to, but do not want to receive alerts when someone else replies? In the previous version of Teams, it was an option in the "3 dots" menu on the first post of the thread - but it's missing now, and nobody in my immediate team can find it.

Added a picture to make it a lot more clear what I am asking about. Sometimes I will make a post in one of the channels, but I do not want to be notified on EVERY reply. This option is missing in MS Teams version 1.6.00.9467 (64-bit).

Hi,

My name is Godswill, I understand your concern here but unfortunately the feature isn't included in the new version of teams and the only thing you can do is to report this omission using the feedback portal at https://aka.ms/TeamsFeedback ​or
1.Select Help at the bottom lower-left of Teams
2.Choose suggest a feature or feedback.

With that, the required developmental team will be able to look into your concern for further necessary actions.

    the option you describe is the exact thing that is missing. my organization is using MS Teams version 1.6.00.9467 (64-bit)

    this is extremely disappointing to learn, but thank you Godswill. I have created a feedback at https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/idea/3c742859-dade-ed11-a81b-000d3a7bb563 if anyone wants to vote or comment on it. I also found https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/idea/3f0d6ec8-8e9e-ed11-a81b-002248519701 that seems very similar if not identical.

    I'm Amro, an Independent advisor and a fellow Microsoft customer. I’m happy to look into this for you.
    It has been reported by many andriod users that they can no longer disable notifications by thread.
    It's an update related Issue that i hope it get addressed soon.
