Share screen does not work and others see only a gray screen

This is very annoying, very common and usual bug in MS Teams not fixed for ages. When people want to share screen then gray screen is visible instead. Could you please fix this finally, how long we should wait for such fixes?!

This is not only me having this problem and this repeats all the time. This is not acceptable and no, I will not provide you any more details or reinstall my OS or use web app to check. Nope. We did this number of times, and such talks about trying to check whatever or reinstalling something is just making you look not professional as this is not related at all and only confirms that don't want to admit that you have a problem here. This is your bug and it's your responsibility. If that's a problem with OS, drivers or permissions then you should display an error message.

This problem is counter productive, very annoying and forces me to use other apps.

Thank you for usual reply, would you be so kind and do not copy paste messages for me but first read what I wrote and then respond properly.

The issue is intermittent, does not depend on drivers as this overlaps multiple systems, both Windows and macOS, it is known and reported before on this forum, was there a year ago, and is still here, nothing changed.

Having the same problem here, has been going on for over a year. the problem exists both in the classic Teams and new. The problem comes and goes and we have not been able to relate it to any specific internet provider or Firewall problem.

We have poked here and there. We think some time recently, last year or so, Teams was changed. Now, if you have two devices in the same call (phone and desktop, for example), it somehow causes this. Or, something having to do with whether it's a meeting or a call, seems to happen on calls more, or maybe it doesn't even happen on meetings. So we drop the call and setup a "Meet now".

    Hi,

We had the same issue and had to install the windows media pack Download Windows 10 Media Feature Pack (microsoft.com) to resolve. Not sure if that will help here with others. Investigations are ongoing but did fix our issue in Classic and New Teams.
