How do I confirm MS Teams issues and downtime

Hello,

We have MS Teams that integrates with a third party for calls.

There was some downtime yesterday and the third party are pointing the finger at MS Teams due to the status on downdetector.

On the Admins status page there is no reference to any issues yesterday but is there anyway I can clarify if there was an issue at that time that is yet to be reported?

thank you

Hello, this is the only one on July 10th I can see that was related to Teams. When you go to the admin center, click on "Show more" > "Health" on the left. Make sure you click on "issue history" for those in the past that have been restored now. The one on the July 10th is TM635782, but TM642420 can be related to your issue as well.

Another good place to find incident/outage information is via the MSFT365Status account on Twitter https://twitter.com/MSFT365Status

    Hi Arif,

what I was asking is where did you see the outage you refer to here:

"Yes, as I checked in the last 24 hours, there were some reported MS Teams outages."

I can only see an outage regarding picture uploaded and that was not an issue I experienced.

    thank you

    Dear Azure,

Thank you so much for your reply!

Could you please confirm where you are experiencing the issue while uploading pictures?

When you upload the picture, do you receive an exact error message?

What steps have you taken to fix this issue?

Have you tried using MS Teams on the web? Are you facing the same issue?

Please try signing out of your account and then signing back in to check if the issue persists.

    Warm Regards,

    Arif

Greetings, Azure! My name is Arif, and I will assist you today.

Yes, as I checked in the last 24 hours, there were some reported MS Teams outages. From the admin portal, you can check the Microsoft 365 Service Health console to review the service health. If MS Teams is showing as fine and you still have the same issue, please reach out to Microsoft Support and ask them to check it from your admin portal.

Verify service health for Microsoft Teams:
