Why did my Teams calls randomly start coming through on my mobile app?

I have had the Teams app on my desktop and on my iPhone for over a year. Notifications are turned off on my iPhone app. I only receive call, message, etc. notifications on my desktop. Randomly, calls are now coming through my phone at the same time as my desktop. How do I get it to not come through my phone? I can also see all of my teams calls on my phone's call log. How do I turn this off?

There could be several reasons why your Teams calls are coming through on your mobile app.

One reason could be that your mobile app is set to receive notifications while your desktop app is not.

You can change this by going to > Menu > Notifications in Teams and selecting your preferred notification mode.

Another reason could be that you have not allowed notifications for Teams on your mobile device.

You can troubleshoot this by going to > Menu > Notifications in Teams, tapping Open settings, then Notifications > Teams and toggling Allow Notifications on.

Or there might be some recent updates on your teams app that could change the settings on your notifications.

You can also clear teams cache on your phone.

Go to your Apps list in Settings and tap Teams.

Scroll down and select Storage & cache (the wording may vary depending on your Android model.)

Tap Clear cache.
