I still get the "You need permission to access this item" error on Sharepoint, even though I'm granted access to the folder/ file

The only way we were able to fix it was to grant me Owner access but it's impractical for many sites. Need your asap support.

    If it's too much for them then I would suggest resetting the permissions would solve the problem. You can refer to this article by ElsieLu-MSFT on how to do that:

    Hi Sajjad thanks for your prompt response. Unfortunately I can't do that because I can't access the platform-link at all. They can do it on the back end but it's too much work on their side, I'd rather just get access through links like everyone else
