I will join a call on my computer and it will automatically pop up on my Iphone screen and show the view of my iphone camera. I would like it to automatically use my computer camera instead. How do I get this updated?

I found the answer here: https://www.reddit.com/r/mac/comments/yldozh/my\_mac\_camera\_always\_defaults\_to\_my\_iphone\_on/

On your phone, go to Settings / General / Airplay and switch OFF the continuity camera

I do not think you understand the issue. When a meeting is started on a Mac the camera is defaulting to the users iphone camera. A totally different device. Before the meeting starts there is no choice for iphone camera in Teams on the Mac. We can change it after the meeting has started but do not know how to get it to stop all together using the iphone camera when entering a meeting on a Mac.

Thank you Kamenskshax! That did the trick. Teams has no option of disabling the iPhone camera so you just have to disable continuity camera within settings on the iPhone.

Hi Caylin, my name is Alvaro and I'll be glad to help you today.

I understand that your phone's camera is the current default camera that your Teams uses whenever you join a call.

To select the camera you want Teams to use for calls and meetings, select Settings and more Select to see more options next to your profile picture at the top of Teams and then choose Settings > Devices. Under Camera, select the camera you want Teams to use, and see a preview of that camera's video.

If you have multiple certified devices connected to your computer, you can set one as your secondary ringer, which means it'll ring when a call comes in. Answer incoming calls on any device—not just the ones that ring.

For more information about the camera configuration on your Teams, please refer to this complete article

If you have other questions, please let me know. Have a nice day!

On my phone, I went into Settings > Privacy and security > Camera and switched it off against MS teams and a host of other apps that didn't need to access the Camera.
