How it is possible to access a whiteboard, which has been initiated by the Rooms System itself when no other meeting participant is included in the meeting.

Hello,

Please i need your help on this issue.

We have recently received the version 4.15.58.0 of Teams Rooms Client. There the feature "Start whiteboard in Teams meetings" is included.

We tried it out and were wondering if and how it is possible to access a whiteboard, which has been initiated by the Rooms System itself when no other meeting participant is included in the meeting.

As soon as a participant is included in the meeting he/she sees it also in his MS Whiteboard Dashboard.

But if you start an ad hoc meeting from the Rooms System itself, create a whiteboard - we do not have a clue how to access or share the whiteboard after the meeting is ended.

    Hi ESTHER,

I'm Ahmed and I am here & happy to help.

I have found this for you, which stats, you couldn't use it till one participant shares it first!

You can interact with whiteboards on all-in-one devices, ***although you cannot launch a whiteboard during a Teams meeting. **Another participant in the meeting must first share the whiteboard.

Once a whiteboard is shared, you can use most features.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Best regards,
