How do I link a ToDo list to a Chat (NOT a Team's Channel)

I have ToDo lists shared with a specific person. We have our own ToDos that do not need to be in a Teams Channel since it's just the two of us.

How can I connect our ToDo list (from MS ToDo) to our chat? I would like to add it as a tab on the top of our chat.

Thank you.

    Hi Shayna,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconveniences,

There is no direct way to add a ToDo list as a tab in a chat in Teams. However, there are some possible workarounds that you can try to achieve a similar result. Here are some of them:

    • You can use the Tasks by Planner and To Do app in Teams to create and manage your tasks in a chat. To do this, go to the chat you want to add the tasks to and click on the **+** button on the top right corner. Then, search for Tasks by Planner and To Do and click on the app. You can then create a new plan or use an existing one from your Microsoft To Do account. You can also add tasks, assign them, set due dates, and track progress.
    • You can use the Lists app in Teams to create and share a list in a chat. To do this, go to the chat you want to add the list to and click on the **+** button on the top right corner. Then, search for Lists and click on the app. You can then create a new list or use an existing one from your Microsoft Lists account. You can also add items, columns, filters, and views to your list.

Let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance.

    Regards, Sola
