How to search in Teams for a past, specific date range

whats missing is how to do a general search by date w/o a keyword. Also, how can you save the results of a search?

You first have to do a search for all messages. Simply use * for the search term, then when the results are returned, click on the Messages button, then use the Date Filter (below the Messages button).

If you select yourself in 'From' and press * in search you will get all chats you replied on that specific date. Combine that with chats you didn't reply to (they are visible in the overview, just scroll down to the date) and you get a complete overview of Teams-communication on a specific date.

That's great, but how do we search for a date range without a search term. I want to search all chats for that day. Should I search the word "the", or is there a way that makes more sense?

To do a search in Teams for a date range, you can start typing a keyword into the search box and press Enter. This displays a list of results that include the keyword.

--Then you can apply the date filter under the Messages or the Files Tab. Click on the drop down under Date.

--Insert the From and To date.

--Select Apply

--You can also apply the filter in the Files tab.

NB: You can change the search type to chat or channel.
