    Hi Nabeel,

Thank you for reaching out to this forum. I'm Utkarsh and as a fellow Microsoft user, I'm here and ready to help you today.

I am a user like you, this is a user forum and not Microsoft directly.

When you set your status to "Busy" in Microsoft Teams and become inactive, your status will not automatically change to "Away." The status in Teams changes to "Away" when the app is in the background and your computer is idle or in sleep mode.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'd be glad to assist you further.

    I am NOT a Microsoft Agent/Employee.

I hope this is helpful! Best Regards, Utkarsh
