Microsoft teams showing incorrect status

Hello,

I am using microsoft teams on 2 devices.

On my andriod phone (galaxy Z fold) and on my laptpo Dell one.

When I am actively using Teams on my laptop I see my status is always shown as away except i am in meeting (i dont understand why i am using it).

When I am using teams on my phone then my status is shown as Available except i am in meeting.

Why is this so, teams status should reflect I am available when I am using it irrespective of which device I am logged in, right dont you think.

Can you help?

    Your current presence state changes to Away when you lock your computer or when your computer enters idle or sleep mode.

    On a mobile device, your presence status changes to Away whenever the Teams app is in the background.

    If your presence status is shown incorrectly, try Updating Teams: Select your profile picture at the top of the app, and then select Check for updates.
