    Dear Sherry,

I have the same issue in my organization. We went from a corporate to our own MS Tenant. Since then, several of us can't log into the Teams app.

I'm the admin of our organization, I set all the permissions for everybody and they aren't enforced by your system the same way. All licences are added, apps are allowed and for 1 colleague - no problem, for me and couple others, we aren't allowed.

This is an issue on your side, please tell me, how to proceed.

    Best Regards

    Karol

    Dear bassey1,

Thanks for your update and please forgive my delayed response becaused of my taking leave.

I can see that the user is assigned Teams Essentials license, but still coulf not access Teams app, I was wondering whether the users who have the Business Standard licenses can use Teams well?

    .

Would you please try to change the business standard license to this user and try accessing Teams? This may narrow down the issue to the account or Licensing.

Thanks for your precious time and your understanding would be highly appreciated. Have a nice day!

    Sincerely,

    Sherry | Microsoft Community Moderator

    Dear bassey1,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

Based on your description, you're experiencing issues with accessing your Microsoft Teams account. The error message you're receiving may indicate that your account does not have the necessary permissions to access the organization.

To resolve this issue, please contact your organization's IT administrator and request that they grant you the appropriate license/app permission to access Microsoft Teams. If you're unsure who your IT administrator is, you can try reaching out to your HR department or IT help desk for assistance. They should be able to point you in the right direction.

For your reference: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support.

To troubleshoot this issue, please try the following steps:

    1. Make sure that you are using the correct login credentials for your account.
    2. Check if your account is assigned a Teams license and Teams app permission. Please go to User Details Panel - Microsoft 365 admin center, click on your user name and check. Make sure to tick Microsoft Teams for that selected user.If you are not pretty sure, kindly provide a screenshot and I will check it for you.

If all configuration is fine but the issue persists, you may contact Microsoft support for further assistance. They will be able to help you resolve the issue and get you up and running with Teams. Please go to Office 365 Admin Center-> Support-> New Service Request. The support engineers there have the correct escalation channel, and this is the most efficient way to report such issue. You can refer to this article to check the way how to raise a ticket: Ways to contact support for business products - Admin help. I hope the information helps! If there is any update or I misunderstand you, please feel free to let me know. I will continue to assist you. Your understanding and co-operation are highly appreciated.
