Capturing audio, video, and screen content from Teams meetings for later review or sharing
Hi Catherine, My name is Umar and I'd be happy to help you out with your question.

To ensure that videos played during a PowerPoint presentation in a Microsoft Teams webinar are properly recorded, it's important to note that the current recording feature in Teams may not capture videos or animations embedded in PowerPoint Live presentations This means that when you view the recording, you may only see a still image of the video without any visuals or sound.
To avoid this issue, you can consider using alternative methods to record your PowerPoint presentation with videos. Here are a few options:
Use screen recording software: You can use third-party screen recording software, such as Bandicam or other similar tools, to record your entire screen while delivering the PowerPoint presentation. This way, the software will capture both the PowerPoint slides and any videos played within the presentation. Make sure to set up the recording software to capture both audio and video.
Convert PowerPoint to video: Another option is to convert your PowerPoint presentation to a video file before the webinar. PowerPoint itself provides an option to save your presentation as a video. By doing this, you can ensure that the videos within the presentation are properly recorded and will play back correctly in the webinar recording. To convert your PowerPoint presentation to a video, go to File > Export > Create a Video.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
