Hi,

For whatever reason I can't find the username for my Ms Essentials account and therefor neither can use MS Teams nor can I access the admin page to download my invoices or manage my subscription etc.

The subscription has been debited from my business credit card every month.

I do have the following information that was sent to me when I bought the subscription on the 2nd of July 2023

The information was sent to my **********@brendanconsulting.nl mail address

Naam van de organisatie: Brendan Consulting

Domein:****050.onmicrosoft.com

Abonnementsnaam: Microsoft Teams Essentials

Startdatum: ****

Vervaldatum: ****

The subscription has the following order number

Ordernummer: ****

Product Licenties
:--- :---
Microsoft Teams Essentials 1

Please help, as I am paying for my subscription but can't use it.

Kind regards,

Barend Hofman

    Hi Dighi and @EmilyS_726,

Thanks very much for your help!

Eventually I managed to contact Microsoft by phone using this page

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/support-contact-info?view=o365-worldwide#netherlands

and was able to log a service ticket.

I got called back by a service rep from Microsoft, he was very friendly and solved my issue and as a result I've regained full access to my MS 365 MS Teams Essentials account.

Thanks again for your quick help and suggestions!

    Regards,

    Barend Hofman

    Hello,

When you signed up for your Essentials, you would run into this step where you created the username (see highlighted part). It is very possible your username is Brendan @ BrendanConsulting050.onmicrosoft.com. or barend @ BrendanConsulting050.onmicrosoft.com. I wonder if it rings a bell seeing this screenshot.

    Hi Dighi,

I've tried your step 2 and step 4 and unfortunately neither of them worked out for me.

I'll reach out to Microsoft Support directly and hopefully they can help me.

    Regards,

    Barend

    Hello Barend,

I'm Ibhadighi and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

To recover your username for your Microsoft Teams Essentials subscription and gain access to your account, you can try the following steps:

1.Since the information was sent to your email when you purchased the subscription, search your email inbox for any messages from Microsoft around the 2nd of July, 2023. Look for emails that might contain account setup or welcome information, as these often include your username or account details.

2.Given your organization's domain is BrendanConsulting050.onmicrosoft.com, your username is likely an email address that ends with @BrendanConsulting050.onmicrosoft.com. If you recall setting up any specific email addresses with this domain, try those as your username.

    1. Reach out to Microsoft Support directly https://support.microsoft.com/contactus for assistance. Provide them with your organization name ("Brendan Consulting"), domain (BrendanConsulting050.onmicrosoft.com), subscription name (Microsoft Teams Essentials), start date (2nd July 2023), and your order number (F27E2463-5326-43E8-9047-CC169CC6ED8A). They should be able to help you recover your account details.
    2. Since the subscription is being debited from your business credit card, your bank statement might have a contact number or additional details related to the Microsoft transaction that could be helpful when communicating with Microsoft Support.

Please remember that I am a User on the forum just like you and do not have access to Microsoft's database.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards, Ibhadighi
