With the "New" Desktop Teams, some of my Teams are no longer showing. I checked my web version and all of the Teams are showing properly. How do I resolve this issue?

We recently switched over to the New Teams. I logged in this morning and some of my Teams are not showing. I went to the web version and all of the Teams appear. How do I fix this issue?

Reset the teams app you're using

    settings>apps>search teams>advanced settings>reset

Helped a client out this morning with this issue. Reset teams, restarted it, and all of his teams groups showed back up

    Hello DKM1224,

I understand you are having issues with the New Teams.

To resolve this issue, kindly confirm if this is happening on a Windows PC.

The "New" Teams app is a Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app, and it stores its cache in a different location compared to the previous version of Teams.

The cache for the "New" Teams UWP app is located at C:\Users\user.name\AppData\Local\Packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe. You can clear the cache by deleting this folder with Teams UWP closed.

Please replace user.name with the actual username of the account on the computer where you want to clear the cache.

On a Mac, to clear the cache for the new client:

Press Command + Space and enter Terminal.

    Enter the following commands:

    rm -rf ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.com.microsoft.teams rm -rf ~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.teams2

    I hope this helps.

    Warm Regards, Taiwo

I have found this to work.

Uninstall old Teams. Chose Repair on New Teams app. Client signed out of Teams and back in and all Teams appeared.

I found if you search for the missing TEAM it will find it. Then if you click on the TEAM it will re-add to your list. Like it's always been there....SMH. My best guess is there is a limitation to the number of TEAMS that "appear". In my situation the user had over 100 TEAMS in his old list and over 50 Archived TEAMS. So far, just searching and manually adding seems to be working. Painful for someone with that many but only solution I've found.

We are also facing same issue. Those teams do not show up in New Teams at all (Both Web and client). But in Classic teams it does show up. Clearing the cache in New Teams, Reinstalling client also did not help.
