I would like to search all my chats to see what messages were sent and received between 9PM and 7AM the following day. Is this possible?

I FOUND IT :) Sortof. You can filter by date, not by time.

Using the "new" teams, type an asterisk * in the search bar and press enter. Click Messages and then you have more options to filter your search.

The "Top Results" are not ordered by date :( The "All results" are, but it is paged, so you have to click a few times.

    Hello Richard,

My name is EngineTyme, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I would be glad to help you.

Unfortunately, Teams search functionality currently doesn't offer a specific time filter. You can search by keywords or within specific channels or dates, but filtering by a time range within a day isn't directly available.

However, there are a couple of workarounds you can consider to find messages sent or received after 9PM:

    1. Manual Date Filtering:

While you can't filter within a day, you can use the date filters to narrow down your search. Open the Teams search bar and choose "Show more options." Select the "From" date as the day before your desired 9PM starting point (e.g., if you want messages after 9PM on Monday, set the "From" date to Sunday). Set the "To" date as the same day your desired time range ends (e.g., Monday for messages after 9PM Sunday). This will show you all messages from Sunday evening until Monday evening, within which you can manually scroll or search further to identify messages sent or received specifically after 9PM.

“Give back to the Community. Help the next person who has this issue by indicating if this reply solved your problem. Click Yes or No below. “

Please let me know if you have any questions or concern.

    Best regards, EngineTyme.
