Hi, still me with the Dark Theme issue.

Last time Ylaya gave me some solutions to fix the problem. I tried each by once, but there's no result. However, when I re-do the first solution (Update the application) after the third solution (Reset the application in Settings), it worked.

Unfortunately, when I got back home and open my laptop, the problem still exist, and this time either.

I tried again, and no good results I received.

Is there any other way? This annoys me a lot while using.

    Hi Nguyen,

I had the same issue. In the new Microsoft Teams, click the three dots on the left hand side of your picture or avatar. That is the settings menu. Click settings, then on the left hand side panel menu click appearance and accessibility. Look for Theme and click the dropdown menu under that and choose classic. That will solve the problem.

    Hello Nguyễn,

Please, can you follow the steps below to revert to classic Teams and confirm if there is no problem with dark theme:

If you'd like to switch back to classic Teams, it's easy to toggle back and forth. To switch back to the classic Teams, turn off the New Teams toggle at the top of Teams.

    Hi,

I'm using the new Teams (as the picture I given; the old version of Teams always force me to use the newest one).

My settings are fully in "Dark", and this also affect to Teams, however, not the left vertical bar.

This is my school account, and moreover I found that there are many other people got the problem like me. Not sure what makes this happen but I hope the problem should be fixed as soon as possible.

    Thanks.

    Hello Nguyễn,

My name is EngineTyme, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I would be glad to help you.

'This response has been automatically translated. As a result, there may be grammatical errors or strange expressions.'

I understand that you want to remove the dark theme in your MS Teams.

Please provide answers to the questions below to be able to isolate the issue:

    1. Are you using the new Teams on the classic Teams?
    2. Can you confirm if dark is enabled from your Windows setting?
    3. Are using a personal teams account or work or school account?

If you using Teams personal account, you could try to follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

Select Settings and more More options button near your profile picture. Select Settings Settings button. Select General. Under Theme, select Default, Dark, or High Contrast. Your theme will change to your selection.

Customize the Appearance in Microsoft Teams (free): https://support.microsoft.com/office/customize-the-appearance-in-microsoft-teams-free-51f24f07-1209-4f9d-8788-c0da4d98aede#:~:text=Customize%20the%20Appearance%20in%20Microsoft%20Teams%20%28free%29%201,Teams%20%28free%29%20restarts%2C%20your%20theme%20will%20be%20changed.
