I need assistance regarding updating my working hours in Microsoft Teams on Mac. I have referred to several help threads, but the navigation options mentioned are specific to Windows users, and I couldn't find the equivalent steps for Mac.

Could you please guide me on how to update my working hours in Microsoft Teams on Mac? Any step-by-step instructions or links to relevant documentation would be greatly appreciated.

FYI, I changed working hours for both teams and outlook calendar by logging to office.com, selecting outlook/calendar/settings (gear on top right of screen), selecting "working hours and location" under "View", and then changing the working hours for each individual day.

that changed my working hours in both teams and outlook calendar (I don't remember now, but I believe it was updated automatically and I did not have to close/restart either the apps or the computer).

would be nice if you could change all days simultaneously instead of each day individually, but I would not expect Microsoft to make it that easy.

I have a MacBook Air but I assume that would work for PC as well.

Hello Ibhadighi, thank you very much for trying to help with this thread.

I changed my work hours on outlook as you indicated, and that did not change the working hours on Teams.

I then logged off and logged back into Teams, and that also did not change Teams working hours.

I restarted my MacBook Air, and that did not work either.

Any suggestion or recommendation would be highly appreciated!

    Thanks again!

    Hello Ibhadighi,

I went to settings menu but I don't see a "Go to Calendar" option (screenshot attached).

    Please advise.

    Hello HN10,

Thank you for letting me know.

Based on the screenshot you've provided, it seems that you're in the general settings menu of Microsoft Teams. To change your working hours, you would typically do this within the Outlook calendar settings, as Teams pulls in calendar information from Outlook. Here’s how you can adjust your working hours in Outlook, which should reflect in Microsoft Teams:

    1. Open Outlook: Since you're on a Mac, open the Outlook application.
    2. Go to the Calendar view within Outlook.
    3. Look for 'Calendar' in the top menu, and select 'Calendar Properties' or similar. There may also be a 'Settings' or 'Preferences' option in the Outlook menu.
    4. : In the Calendar settings, there should be an option to set your working hours. You can specify the start and end times for each day of the week.
    5. After setting your working hours, save the changes.

Once you've updated your working hours in Outlook, these should sync with Microsoft Teams. If your organization uses Outlook on the web:

    1. Sign In: Go to the Outlook on the web.
    2. Open Calendar: Navigate to the Calendar view.
    3. View All Outlook Settings: Look for a gear icon for settings or a similar option to access Calendar settings.
    4. Set Your Working Hours: Within the Calendar settings, you should find the option to set your working hours.

Remember to check your Teams settings or preferences after updating your hours in Outlook to ensure the changes are reflected. If you're still having trouble, its possible your IT department or admin might have set specific configurations, and you may need to reach out to them as well.

    Thank you, Ibhadighi
