Hi,

I have a question about Teams webinars. Is it possible to create series of webinars? I could not find anything about that. I often use Teams meetings, but need now also Teams webinars. But as I need to create several irregular dates for a 4-day webinar, I wonder how I can manage. I also need a webinar series for a webinar that runs for a whole year.

    Hello Tina,

I'm Ibhadighi and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

Microsoft Teams does not directly support the creation of a recurring webinar series in the same way it allows recurring meetings. However, you can manage this by setting up each webinar session individually. Here’s a simple way to do it:

    1. Schedule Each Webinar Separately:
      • Go to the Microsoft Teams calendar and choose the option to schedule a new meeting.
      • Set it as a webinar, fill in the details, and select the date and time for each session of your series.
      • Repeat this process for each date in your webinar series.
    2. You can create one Teams meeting link and use it for all sessions. Just make sure to communicate clearly to the participants about the dates and times each link corresponds to.
    3. After setting up each webinar, send out calendar invites for each session to your attendees. This way, they have each session noted in their calendars.
    4. Clearly communicate the schedule to all participants, perhaps by sending a summary email with all the dates and corresponding links.

For a year-long webinar series, you’ll have to schedule each session manually. While this is more time-consuming than setting up a recurring meeting, it allows for greater flexibility, especially if the webinars are on irregular dates.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards, Ibhadighi
