Controlling settings, permissions, and membership within Teams and channels
Hello RToddRP,
Good day!
Thank you for providing detailed information about the issue you are experiencing. Based on the troubleshooting steps you have already taken, it seems like there might be an issue with the host organization's guest access settings or with the link itself.
You may need contact the administrator of the host organization to check in Azure admin portal if your account exists as an active guest user in their tenant. If so, they can try to first remove/delete this account permanently from the tenant. They can do this directly in the Microsoft Entra admin center >Identity > Users >All users. Then Select Deleted users >select the check box next to a deleted user, and then select Delete permanently. You can give it a few hours to propagate, and this should remove any identity you previously had in the organization and shouldn't be listed any more.
Once this is done, you can then ask them to send you a fresh invite to the team and try accessing the link through the browser first while logged in with the "invited account" and see whether there is a difference.
Looking forward to your response.
Best Regards,
Ashraf.
