I have the same issue and would like to edit the call back phone numbers. This should be a local setting, not global admin change. The list of numbers I want to edit is after I connect to a Teams meeting and select "phone audio" instead of "computer audio." After I select "Join Now" button, Teams connects then lists phones numbers to call. I would like to edit that list of phone numbers listed under favorites.

I have the same problem & agree with Cliff that the user (not only the admin) should be able to remove the phone numbers that I've added (when joining a meeting via phone audio).

    Ibrahim,

Your response was focused on phone numbers to call from Teams. This question, and the question I have is about the list that shows on the screen when you ask Teams to call you in order to participate in a teams meeting. Often I am in different conference rooms, offices, or locations where the phone number needs to be added in order to have teams call the phone. I now have a long list of possible numbers to choose from but 90% of them I will never use again. Is there a way, within teams or through config file editing or some other approach, that will allow Teams users to delete numbers that are showing for the dial out audio option in Teams?

    Thanks

    Mark M

    Hello Emily,

My name is Ibrahim, a fellow Microsoft user and I'm happy to help

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're facing.

I understand that you want to remove unwanted phone numbers from your favorites when you select Use Phone for Audio on Teams. This can be done by following these steps: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteam...

    • Open the Microsoft Teams admin center and log in with a user that is a Global admin. This is usually the account you used to sign up for Microsoft 365.
    • In the left navigation, click Voice > Phone numbers. On the Phone numbers page, select an unassigned number in the list, and then click Edit.
    • In the Edit pane, under Assigned to, click Remove to unassign the number from the user or resource account that it is currently assigned to.
    • Repeat steps 2 and 3 for any other unwanted phone numbers that you want to remove from your favorites.

Hope it helps you. Please let me know if you still need further assistance.

    Regards,
