Additional features, settings, or issues not covered by specific Microsoft Teams categories
You can try this to create a desktop shortcut to the New Teams.
- Right-click Start
- Click Run
- Type in shell:AppsFolder and then press the Enter key or click the OK button
- This will open up Explorer to the Applications folder. Scroll down to find the New Teams app.
- Click, hold, and drag New Teams to an open area on the Desktop. You'll see that it says Create link in Desktop before you.
- Release your click and your Desktop shortcut will now be created.
