Teams web browser on Chrome no longer allowing access

Hello

Using Teams on Mac desktop on Chrome - I've been invited to a client's Teams group and it's been working fine for weeks.

Today it's decided it can't log in.

I'm already logged into Office 365 and go to Teams. It requests I log in again and delivers the message below.

This is no good to me. There's no reason it shouldn't work and telling me it can't sign me in is no good to me.

I've cleared cache, changed passwords and all that. All I want to do is use Teams. Why is it so painful?

Any help is appreciated.

    Hello Jack,

Greetings. Hope this finds you well!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble accessing Teams on Chrome. May I please verify whether you've been invited to the client's Teams group as a guest or a normal team member in your org?

->Can you kindly confirm with the group owner whether you are still a member of this group?

->Can you log into teams web with your account without using the link for the invite to the group? You can try using https://teams.microsoft.com/v2/

In the meantime, please try accessing the Teams link in a private/incognito tab or a different browser to see if the issue persists. If there are no issues, you may have to clear your browser cookies and cache.

->You may also try using teams mobile or a different device to check if you can access and open the link.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best Regards,

    Ashraf.

    Hi Ashraf

I've had the email below which grants me access to the host SharePoint.

I can successfully access the SharePoint.

I can also locate the Teams app but it's still producing the same error when attempting to log in. (And I'm not sure why I need to log in again when I'm already logged in?).

    Hello Jack,

    Hope this finds you well.

Since you were invited as a guest, you must have received an email invitation to the host organization/team. If you still have this email, please try clicking on this link inside the invitation email to directly open in the browser and see if you can access the team.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best Regards,

    Ashraf.

    Hi Ashraf

I've been invited to the client's Teams group as a guest.

I've used the link but the same problem persists.

I've used the link you provided in incognito mode but it only allows me to enter my own organisation's Teams - not the client's organisation.

    What should I do?

This link mentioned above worked GREAT! for me. Faster than using desktop app.
