Hi Teams Support,

My agency has noticed that the lobby wait time is 30 minutes. We would like to know if this setting can be adjusted from the 30 minute wait time.

This is not helpful. We are using Teams to conduct hearings with multiple witnesses. All witnesses must wait in the lobby until it is their turn to be called into the hearing. Our hearings are 4 hours in length. When it kicks a witness out, they just leave and it is affecting our cases. When will this be fixed?

    Hello Ronald A,

I'm Ibhadighi and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

Microsoft Teams allows administrators to control the lobby wait time for meetings, but the maximum lobby wait time is indeed 30 minutes I’m sorry, and this limit is not adjustable within the Teams settings.

The lobby wait time is a security feature that controls how long a participant can wait in the lobby before being admitted to a meeting. The maximum wait time is set to 30 minutes to ensure that participants are not kept waiting for an extended period before being allowed into the meeting.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards, IBHADIGHI
