I am trying to download a meeting recording from Teams that has been shared with me. We like to take these recorded calls and turn them into training sessions for our company, but if I am not the one who records the meeting I am not able to record it.

    Dear Jasmine Staton,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

Typically, Only the person who started the recording and the meeting organizer can download the recording. You can refer to Play, share, and download a meeting recording in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Support

However, the organizer or the person who started the meeting can share the recorded meeting from their OneDrive with can Edit permission. To do this, you may need to ask the person who shared the recorded meeting to share the recording from their OneDrive with Can edit permission, Go to OneDrive -->My files -->open Recording folder -->Find the recorded meeting in question -->Share -->Enter the email address you want share -->Click on Can't Download edit button -->Give Can edit permission -->Share or copy link and send.

Then, after you received the recorded meeting from the organizer, you can open in the Microsoft Stream and click on Download.

You can refer to the screenshot below.

I look forward to your update. Please feel free to let me know how it goes or if I've got you wrong. If you still have any concerns, please let me know so I can provide more suggestions.

Thank you for your precious time. Have a nice day.

    Sincerely,
