Missing Video call button in Teams chat

I want to Video call my group chat (5 people) in Teams, but the icon/button in the upper right corner is missing. How can I get that back? It's available for all my other chats.

    Agreed. This is the 100 the DUMBEST thing I've seen in a while. Microsoft FORCES more unnecessary clicking by hiding the video chat in a drop down under the voice call. EVERY employee in our company hates this. When 90% of all your calls are video chats and now some idiot made a decision to hide it and require MORE clicking to get to a button that has PLENTY of space in the area and 100% NO REASON to hide. DUMB DUMB DUMB.

    It's like they have a team that sits around and asks the question, "How can we annoy people by making them click around more with zero benefit".

    Hi,

    I have the same issue. When I launch (old) Teams I see audio/video call button.

    If I switch to the new Teams I will find a drop down menu only. I still can call audio, video, phone but I always need to go through the drop down menu.

    I'm using the new Teams for some month now, but since last week I miss the buttons.

    To my device:

    MacBook Pro M3, Sonoma 14.1.2, Teams Version 23320.3103.2547.5155 (23320.3103.2547.5155)

    Yes. Same here. Upgraded to the new and the icon is now gone. Every call requires me to click to open an audio call then click to turn on the camera. New upgrade. Less user friendly. No methods above helps.

    While I'm venting, why can't I have more than 15 favorites?

    MICROSOFT- any way to change this in settings, options, etc.?
