Hey there! I read a previous thread that says you can find the transcripts in the Teams calendar, however I cannot seam to locate this. The only thing that's in the calendar is the scheduled meeting.

Hi Tron, My name is Umar and I'd be happy to help you out with your question.

Please note: This is a user-to-user community forum. We are users just like you who help others. We are not employees of Microsoft.

To find meeting transcripts in Teams, you can follow these steps:

    1. Open the Calendar: Go to the Teams Calendar and locate the meeting event where the transcript is available.
    2. Click on "Recording & Transcripts" within the meeting event. The transcript should be available as a .docx or .vtt file.
    3. If you need a copy of the transcript, you can download it by selecting the down arrow next to "Download" and choosing the file type you want (.docx or .vtt).

Please note that the transcript feature must be enabled by the meeting organizer during the meeting for the transcript to be available. If you still cannot find the transcript, it's possible that the feature was not enabled or the transcript was not saved.

I don’t have that tab. I guess that means it wasn’t recorded? My attendees say that they saw that it was being recorded though. So frustrating!

During the meeting, those who were on a desktop were able to see the meeting being transcribed. I set it up to record automatically, and I can’t find where it has been recorded.

    Hello,

You need to make sure your organization's IT has "allow transcription" turned on in the Teams meeting policy first.

In addition, the users will need to start the transcription in the meeting as well.

    Some other limitations to consider:

    1. It is only for desktop Teams. not phone or tablet.
    2. Certain types of license don't have this feature.

You can read more about the limitations here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/office/view-live-transcription-in-microsoft-teams-meetings-dc1a8f23-2e20-4684-885e-2152e06a4a8b#:~:text=After%20your%20meeting%20ends%2C%20you,transcript%20after%20a%20meeting%20ends.

Users were able to see if being transcribed during the meeting. Could that be because they have transcription turned on, and maybe I (the moderator) has to actually record the transcription at the start of the meeting? I did set up the meeting to record automatically though and cannot find the recording.
