When a Channel is set as Private, can we add an App such as Tasks by Planner

My Channel is set as Private. I know I cannot change the status to set it Public. But when I try to add an App such as Tasks By Planner, it does not let me. It's not even listed in the 'Add App' section. I can add it to all my channels that are not private but not when it's private. Why?

    Dear Minnie112233,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

Currently, Private channels don't support connectors and tabs in Stream, Planner, Tasks by Planner and To Do, and Forms. This is due to the security model and back end private channel design in Teams. However, Microsoft are still working on full apps support for private channels, including messaging extensions and bots. For more details about its description, you can refer to: IT Admins - Private channels in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn. I will update here once I get additional information and the specific timeline for the feature will be added. Appreciate your patience and understanding.

Thank you for your precious time. Have a good day!

    Sincerely,
