Teams Android app calendar day view option disappeared.

There was a button on the top of the calendar page that shows the calendar in the day view, which helps me organize meetings and see if they are crossing with each other, etc. That button just disappeared recently, and I could not find it anywhere else. I could not see this change in the change log, so I think it might be a mistake that can be fixed.

On the other hand, this is a must-have for people who have a busy calendar because sometimes you will come up with a situation to see your free time easily to schedule a meeting. This existing view does not allow this. Please bring back the day view feature.

Hi, Unfortunately, it did not help. I have 2 phones Samsung S22 and S23 with the latest firmware and 1 tablet Samsung TabS9fe Plus I followed the directions for all of them and nothing changed, the button is still not there. There is a "meet now" button which might be the problem.

For more information, As explained in the below link this was a new feature in March 2022 but it has disappeared with the latest updates as you can see in the screenshot.

    Hello Ayhan,

My name is EngineTyme, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I would be glad to help you.

I apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing with the Teams Mobile Calendar View. Losing access to the day view can indeed disrupt your scheduling and meeting organization. Let’s troubleshoot this issue together.

Here are some additional steps you can try to resolve the problem:

    1. Update the Teams App: Ensure that your Teams app is updated to the latest version. Sometimes, features may not work as expected if the app is outdated. Check the Device’s System Software: Make sure your device’s system software is up-to-date. Sometimes, app features may not work properly if the device’s software is outdated.
    2. Reset App Preferences: Resetting all app preferences to default can sometimes resolve issues with specific apps. You can do this in your device settings (usually under ‘Apps’ or ‘Application Manager’).
    3. To clear the Microsoft Teams cache on your Android phone, follow these steps:
    4. Ensure that the Teams app is completely shut down on your device.
    5. Go to your Settings and find the Apps or Applications section (the wording may vary depending on your Android model).
    6. Locate and tap on Teams from the list of installed apps.
    7. Scroll down and select Storage & cache.
    8. Tap Clear cache to remove cached data. Finally, restart the Teams app.
