“I have exactly the same problem. I think it’s a terrible image on Microsoft’s part compared to other solutions. Moreover, it leaves a terrible impression on those of us who use your tool to organize our webinars. I find it appalling that the solution is to have customers clear their cache, go into private browsing, or some other similar solution. This type of service should work correctly on all devices, it’s a form created on your domain. I’ve designed websites with more compatibility with a billionth of Microsoft’s budget…”

    Hello Yoan,

On my side it's been a pain in the neck !!!

I had 850 participants, about 10% that I had to register by myself, I had to communicate on that... I told people to send me an email with their name and firstname if they had issues so I could register them

A catastrophy on my opinion... I tried to see the good side of things : I exchanged emails with those people so I improved my deliverability rate with my email address I guess (for my newsletter)

Very surprising to have this kind of issue

Good luck on your side !

    Juliette

    Hello,

I'm experiencing exactly the same problem as I created two completely different webinars on different dates.

Following your feedback, I checked and :

The quota of participants has not been reached, the problem occurred on the first registrations.

Not everyone is experiencing this problem. Many people are not experiencing the problem.

The problem exists in both normal and private browsing.

    The print for exemple :

Unfortunately, it's not a great message. People who register and see this type of message don't know if they're really registered, and in terms of image it's annoying.

    Awaiting your return.
    Best Regards,
    Yoan

    Hello Ashraf,

    Thank you so much.

But, on my side there is no problem, and I would say for the majority it's ok.

However, on 430 registered people at least 50 didnt manage to register by themself.

So they send me an email and I do it for them on my computer, what a shame and a lost of time, and of prospects !!!

I won't ask people to make a screen shot, it's already a shame for me. But I have received one and it's below.

A webinar is a public event where we must show our legitimity, and it must be a very simple process. I m very disappointed.

Anyway, I suppose you already had that kind of issue ?

Last year I had the same problem for some of them, a few, but I supposed that kind of bug would be resolved...

Thank you in advance for telling me the following points :

    • is webinar registration suitable for smartphone use ? could it be the problem for some of them ?
    • does the fact that the person already has a team account (for work for example) can cause a problem (they generally register to my webinar with their private email address as I'm in BtoB)
    • are there prerequisites for participants to register in a teams webinar ?

    Thank you in advance

    Juliette

    Hello Juliette

    Thank you for reaching out.

I understand that you are having issues with your webinar registrations. Please let me know of the following to narrow down the issue. Thanks in advance.

    1. If you access the registration link in a private or incognito tab does the issue persist?
    2. Please share with me a screenshot of the error message to better understand your scenario.

In the meantime, please verify that the number of registrations has not reached the webinar capacity if you set in the details.

->You may as well ask any of the affected attendees to try clearing their browser cache and cookies or to access the registration page from an incognito/private window.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best Regards,

    Ashraf.
