Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
As a business, we are piloting the new teams client and are seing a few issues. We have seen these issues with all pilot users.
Where can I find logs to troubleshoot this issue or get some support from Microsoft to move the pilot forward?

We are also piloting the new teams app, hence Microsoft want's us to push the app latest in March as far as I understood. But this feature became a must have, we even have bought premium to add custom backgrounds and it is not working.
I suggest that everyone takes the time to raise a ticket with MS to address this. Will try to update this post, if I receive an update.

When you rightclick the little teams icon in the right bottom where the clock is, you get a menu with "Collect support files" this will create a zip file with a name like "MSTeams Support Logs 2023 11 13 07 10 44.6314417.zip" in your profiles downloads folder.
Thanks for the reply. What's the path for the teams log your referred to please?
We - and others - have the same problem.
We are behind a proxy server, then it is not possible to download the backgrounds, when we try via direct internet it is working.
Teams classic on the other hand is able to show backgrounds behind proxy or direct internet.
You can see the download fail in the "new teams log". I expect this to be a problem with proxy server. (rightclick the little icon on the botton right and collect logs)
Check your MSTeams_latest.log for the error, must look something like this

Most backgrounds are not working (have a gray background) in the "New - Microsoft Community
Not being able to change the background keeps us from rolling that out bc. it is a key feature for most colleagues...
