Adding Dropbox as a file storage on New Teams - how do you do it?

Hi,

I'm currently running a small business and using Dropbox as our file storage. There's good reason that we'd like to keep this, rather than use OneDrive/Sharepoint. However, I have looked up how to do it and it sounds simple, but I can't find the Dropbox app anywhere.

I've checked the file settings and have Dropbox enabled there, but I can't understand how to enable it. Because it doesn't show up in the app library (if following these instructions). Has anyone successfully done this? If so please help!

A lot of features have been removed in the New Teams - including the Dropbox storage option.

I am not sure if it will come back (as an app).

I'm not sure if it was over the weekend or when it happened, but Dropbox App for Teams is now available.

    Hello Tom D,

    Thanks for your prompt feedback.

Unfortunately, I don't have any further troubleshooting to offer.

There are many knowledgeable users active on the forum and I hope that someone else can offer further insight on your issue.

I must be missing something because this doesn't seem to be an option in my Teams.

For example, if I click on: 'team' > 'files' I do not get the option to add cloud storage. Nor do I see Dropbox in the list of apps that I can add if I click '+'.

I have checked settings and Dropbox is enabled as a file storage system. I can't see where to add it. Am I going mad??

    Click on 'files'

    Click on ...

Click on '+' in the pane above to open apps, and search for Dropbox

Check settings to make sure I'm allowed to access Dropbox:

I have no idea how to link my Dropbox system to Teams. Help anyone?! Thank you in advance!!
