Remove "Stay in the know. Turn on desktop notifications" once and for all

I use Teams (v2) in my Edge browser (V 120) on my mMacbook Air (M1, Sonoma 14.2.1).

Every time I open teams, i see the info:

Stay in the know. Turn on desktop notifications.

I can remove the info, but the next time I open teams, the info is there again.

How can I remove this once and for all?

Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Teams for education | Settings | Configure notifications

I have the same issue, although I am using Chrome.

It is not a browser pop-up, but rather a banner on the Teams webpage. It is not something that is controlled by the browser, so there is no way to turn it off on a browser level.

Guys if you use Chrome it IS in the chrome settings:

    • Click three dots in top right of chrome
    • Click settings
    • Search for 'notifications'

    • Click 'Site Settings'

    • Click Teams.microsoft.com

    • Look for Notifications and choose Block in drop down

    • Refresh your teams page and it will be gone.

Same problem still, I guess MS won't care to even check this.

    Hi!

I just wrote a Chrome extension to remove this thing. It's free.
