Why doesn't the Polls tab work (for advance set up in a meeting) on the new MS Teams App?

When I add the polls tab in a future meeting, and then select to add a new poll, nothing happens, and my recent polls shows nothing to reuse. I have to actually start the meeting to create the poll and save as a draft. Is this a known glitch or am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks for reporting this.

Another fix is to click the "Polls" dropdown and then click "Reload tab"

Hi, yes there's a glitch. If you open the meeting via 'chat with participants' and add the polls tab, you get the screen which has the button for '+ New Poll' but when you select it, it doesn't perform an action.

If you open the tab in a new window, then the '+ New Poll' button works as expected, so I can get around it that way, but perhaps something you might want to look into.

    Thanks for the reply.

Hi, I'm Diane and I'm happy to help you today.

You are following the steps in this article and polls is not available? I don't see anything in the service status reports for it. The Teams admin can open a support case in admin.microsoft.com. https://support.microsoft.com/office/poll-attendees-during-a-teams-meeting-9923b7d4-ea97-4aa2-b8b8-b45fefe7d454

Let me know how it goes, I'm here to help you further if needed.
