Cannot open classic teams, only New Teams Preview opens; if user choses to stay on old teams, they are just met with Update Required

Hello,

I have run the required Teams update on several fully patched Win10 machines. When the application opens, it asks if the user wants to open the "new" version or stay on the old version. If "stay" is chosen, it opens the older Teams and the only thing that shows is the "Update Required" page/button. Clicking it brings user to same download page. I've tried running the updater/installer several times, tried fully uninstalling Teams then running installer, and also tried clearing Teams cache and got same result. Any ideas?

    It sounds like you're experiencing an issue where you're unable to open the classic version of Teams and are being prompted to update to the new version.

    To resolve this issue, I recommend trying the following steps:

    1. Uninstall Microsoft Teams from your computer.
    2. Clear the Teams cache by deleting the contents of the following folders: %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams and %appdata%\Microsoft\TeamsMeetingAddin
    3. Download and install the latest version of Microsoft Teams from the official Microsoft website. Please open Download Microsoft Teams Desktop and Mobile Apps | Microsoft Teams, nevigate down to the bottom, you would see the link of downloading the classic Teams here:

    1. Once installed, try opening the classic version of Teams again.
