Hi. I want to change teams calendar to eliminate hours so that it only appears from 7 am to 4 pm like my team members. How is this possible?

I am having this same issue. My schedule is correct in Outlook and the Teams add-in is installed, but my schedule in Teams still shows the default 8-5. Is there an update to this issue?

I was able to get it to work however I had to go into the web Outlook. It takes a while to replicate through the systems depending on your organization's infrastructure but it now shows my correct work hours that I set.

    1. Login and open web Outlook (I usually go through office.com then click Outlook)
    2. Go to the full calendar view
    3. Click the settings gear
    4. Click Work hours and location
    5. Set the days and hours
    6. Save
    7. Restart Outlook and Teams desktop apps. Fully quit, don't just close.

Once again, it may take over an hour to pick up in Teams but that what I did and it worked for me. I recommend making sure your Outlook desktop app is set to the same hours, especially if you use more than one computer.

FYI, I use both Windows and Mac and it reflects the change on both.

I do not have a save option after I set the days and hours. So it just defaults back to the previous hours.

That's usually because you have the start time after the end time. Check the am and pm settings.

I am sorry about the persisting issue, Stephanie.

It would seem to sync between Teams and the calendar isn't working as it should. To troubleshoot the issue, please follow the steps below:

"check the Teams Meeting Add-In, and ensure that is installed and enabled.

Check if the Teams Meeting add-in is installed: The Teams Meeting add-in should be automatically installed if you have Microsoft Teams and either Office 2013, Office 2016, Office 2019, or Office 2021 installed on your Windows PC. If it is not installed, you can download and install it from the Microsoft website.

Check if the Teams Meeting add-in is enabled: In Outlook, select File > Options > Add-ins. Check if the Teams Meeting add-in is listed under Active Application Add-ins. If it is listed under Disabled Application Add-ins, select COM Add-ins, and then select Go. Select the Microsoft Teams Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Office checkbox. Choose OK on all dialog boxes, and then close Outlook. Restart Outlook."
