Help minimizing Microsoft teams window

Hi - Recently I switched to the "new" teams and since then I haven't been able to drag the chat window horizontally or vertically. There seems to be restriction when I try to minimize the window and it will stop at a certain window size. The reason I'd like it smaller is to free up some screen space on my desktop.

Thanks!
