How can I look less red on Team calls?

I have a new macbook pro (14" M3) and find that when I use teams I look much redder than normal, like I've a sunburn. I don't have this problem using google meets. Is there some way to adjust the settings so my face looks normal in meetings?
I have the latest version of Teams. I've tried going to Teams settings and switching from FaceTime HD camera to my iphone and it's even worse. I've tried it with green screen on and off and adjusting brightness. Thanks in advance for your help

    Hello,

From Microsoft Engineering we want to provide an update on this issue. Thank you all for reporting this problem and we appreciate your feedback and insights.

As several reported, Teams desktop shows a red tint for video rendered in meeting stage, which is easier to notice when viewing preview video stream. The team found a problem with how the video rendering was configured for displays with certain profiles, resulting in wrong color space adjustment. A fix for this was released in Teams Client version 24267.700.3135.7488, that is now rolled out to all users and clouds as of January 12th 2025.

Although this change improves the experience for majority of the scenarios and make the tones more accurate where viewing video feeds in Mac devices, there are still certain cases that can result in wrong color adjustment, especially when viewing Mac camera in remote machines or with multiple displays with different presets. Our team is working towards keep addressing remaining scenarios with more changes through the upcoming months.

    Thank you,

    Oscar A

I am having the exact same issue with the same computer (M3 MBP). My colour is fine in all other video conferencing apps (Zoom, FaceTime, Google Meet...) but in Teams it looks like I have been drinking since 8 AM. Any resolutions to this?

    Hi Sherry
    Thanks for the advice.
I have since updated my system software to the latest OS and checked the camera settings on my macbook pro. Currently I look the right colour in all other camera uses except Teams (where I look red). This includes Photo Booth, Face Time, Google Meet & the Camera setting preview.

I also called Apple support who went through the same troubleshooting and suggested I go back to Microsoft support as this seems to limited to using Teams.

Is there anything else you can suggest?

    Thanks
    Matt

I have exactly same issue. - Teams on Mac gives you sunburn. Every other app and the colour balance is perfectly natural. Teams makes me look like I'm either embarrassed and/or angry. - Which in turns makes me ACTUALLY either embarrassed and/or angry.!

Teams is obviously applying some kind of "warming" filter hoping this will make us all look more healthy. We need an option to turn this off. - Or ideally a simply HSL colour control panel.

I am experiencing the same annoying problem:

Within Teams, my webcam image is too saturated and has a noticeable red tint. It looks like I have a severe sunburn or high blood pressure...

In all other apps, the webcam colors are reproduced correctly.

    Hardware: MacBook Pro M3 Pro

Operating system: Sonoma 14.4 (up to date)
