Hello Lößlein, My name is Indhurani, I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue, and I will try my best to assist you.

Sometimes, desktop apps can malfunction and prevent you from using them. Mostly, they’re accompanied by an error code that directs you to address the underlying issue. For the Caa5004b error code in Teams, some of its main causes include:

    > Outdated application – Some applications may become unresponsive if not updated with the latest features.

    > Corrupt cache – Over time, the Teams folder accumulates a cache, which can get corrupted if not cleared regularly.

    > Internet connection issues – If your connection is slow or unstable, you may have trouble logging in to your Teams app.

A few basic steps that may resolve the issue include:

    Clear the Teams app cache

    1. If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the taskbar and then select Quit.
    2. Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows logo key +R.
    3. In the Run dialog box, enter %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams and then select OK.
    4. Delete all files and folders in the %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams directory.
    5. Restart Teams.

    Update Teams: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/upda...

Hope it will be fixed. Please let me know if you still need further assistance.

    Regards,

    Indhurani

    Dear Indhurani,

Clear cache is a workaround for the Teams Windows desktop client bug that the Teams devs team does want to fix. I have to clear the cache after each restart of the PC. This issue is only for PC team clients. For example, Android client works perfectly, which means they can handle issues with a cache. Also, I don't know any other app that asks users to manually clear the cache on the PC. For example, Slack works much better and more stable without manually clearing the cache. So I think the teams' devs should finally start working and fix at least one bug!!

    Thanks,

    Alex

It only helps with an Old Teams version and does NOT help with New Teams version. New Teams still won't start. May be New version stores cache files in another location?

And yes it not very convenient that I need to clear this cache before EVERY start of the Teams.
