Teams - Offline Mode, Can we use Teams in Offline , Similar to Outlook?

I knew that Teams is internet based collaboration team, but is there a way to use Microsoft Teams(New Teams) in Offline mode when there is no internet available.

Is there way to see the chats in offline ( when there is no internet available)? Please let me know your thoughts.

    Hi, Krishna. I am an independent advisor, trying to help other users in the Community with my experience in Microsoft products. Please note that I am a user like you and don't work directly for Microsoft.

    Unfortunately, this feature is unavailable on teams for now. You need an internet connection to use the full functionality of Teams.

    I also recommend providing feedback directly to Microsoft Teams through the feedback portal https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback so that they can add this to future releases.

    Could you please let me know, how we can allow the user to download chat history ? Files are something saved in the onedrive.

    Sorry my reply was a bit misleading.

    To access downloaded chats/files, only your organization admin can do it for you. You cannot simply download it. They can download it via the admin center, and create an offline file for you so you can view them even without internet.

    Hello Kris,

    Unfortunately, Microsoft Teams does not have an offline mode like Outlook. Teams is a cloud-based collaboration tool that requires an internet connection to function. Without an internet connection, you will not be able to access your chats, files, or any other features of Teams. However, you can still access your previously downloaded files and chats in the Teams mobile app if you have enabled offline access for those files.
