Additional features, settings, or issues not covered by specific Microsoft Teams categories
Dear Benjamin Both Nielsen,
Thank you for posting to the Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.
I understand that you are having trouble accessing guest organizations in Teams.
To resolve this issue, please try the following steps:
- If you have been added as a guest, try signing out of Teams and signing back in again. This can sometimes refresh the app and allow you to see the guest organization.
- If the issue persists, try clearing the Teams cache. You can do this by going to the Teams settings, selecting "Clear Cache", and then restarting the app. Clear Teams cache in Windows
- If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the taskbar, and then select Quit.
- Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows logo key
+R. - In the Run dialog box, enter %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams, and then select OK.
- Delete all files and folders in the %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams directory.
- Restart Teams.
Clear Teams cache in macOS 1. If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the dock, and then select Quit, or press Command (⌘)-Q. 2. In the Finder, open the /Applications/Utilities folder, and then double-click Terminal. 3. Enter the following command, and then press Return: ConsoleCopy
rm -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/Microsoft/Teams
4. Restart Teams.
- If none of the above steps work, please contact the IT administrator of the guest organization and ask them to check their settings to ensure that guests are allowed to access Teams.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
