How can I install Microsoft teams under macOS Monterey 12.7.4?

Dear Daniel, I've encountered the same problem and have downloaded Teams version 16.88 as advised. However, this has not turned out a solution (after installation, it worked for several hours but after restarting my computer, it now gives the same problem). I have macOS monterey 16.88 and my macbook air is from early 2015.

I hope to hear some advice!

• If you’re an end-user, please coordinate with your Office 365 Global Administrator to check your license Office before you have a decision to install Power Point fit to your Mac or buy license (provided Power Point).
• If you’re Global Admin, you should double check your license Office before you have a decision to install Power Point fit to your Mac or buy license (provided Power Point).

In the meantime, here are step-by-step you try to follow: 

1. Identify the Compatible Version: The last version of Microsoft Office that provides full support for macOS Monterey (12.7.4) is version 16.88.
2. Download Directly from Microsoft: You can securely download the installer package for this exact version from Microsoft's official update history page.  
   1. Please visit this link: Update history for Office for Mac - Office release notes | Microsoft Learn
   2. Scroll down the page until you find "version 16.88" (you'll see it was released around August 2024).
   3. Download either the "Office suite (with Teams)" or "Office suite (without Teams)" package based on your preference. This comprehensive package includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
3. Installation: Once the download is complete, simply open the downloaded .pkg file and follow the straightforward on-screen instructions to install the Office suite.
4. Activation and Use:
   1. After the installation finishes, launch Microsoft Teams.
