    Hello Kunc,

Thank you for posting to the Microsoft community.

I understand you are experiences your Teams apps showing available as your status when you are having a meeting. I'll try to provide an answer to your request.

Microsoft Teams updates your status based on your activity, If you are in a meeting, and you're still moving the mouse within the Teams app, Teams might not switch your presence to "in a meeting" automatically. The app determines your state by detecting system activity, and sometimes that can lead to an "Available" status even during a meeting session. Also Teams not updating your status may be dues to Teams not syncing with your Outlook or due to configuration settings.

To be able to resolve this, if you are in a meeting and Teams doesn't update your status to "In a Meeting or Do not Disturb" you can manually set your meeting status to your desired choice by clicking on your profile picture at the top of Teams, then select your status from the dropdown.

Another troubleshooting step you can carry out is to clear your Teams Cache, sometimes clearing cached data helps to fix issues that you may be encountering with your Teams app. To clear cache

    1. Close Microsoft Teams.
    2. Press Windows key and R key together, type "%appdata%\Microsoft\Teams", and press Enter.
    3. Delete the contents of the folder (not the folder itself), then restart Teams.
    4. Sign Out and Sign Back In: Try signing out of Teams and signing back in. This can help refresh your status syncing.

Hope this helps and if you need further assistance, please feel free to reach out.

    Best Regards,
