I want to know if there is a way, to make an account people can write anonymous to, because at our school some may be to shy to write their problems, with their identity exposed.

Thank you for your answers

with best regards

    Hi Nico,

It's great that you're looking for ways to support your students! While the Q&A feature in Microsoft Teams meetings allows for anonymous questions, it seems you're looking for a solution that works outside of scheduled meetings and is accessible to anyone with the address.

One approach you could consider is setting up a Microsoft Form.

Here's how you can do it:

    1. Create a Form:
      • Go to Microsoft Forms.
      • Click on "New Form" and create your form with the questions you want to ask.
    2. Enable Anonymous Responses:
      • In the form settings, ensure that the option "Record name" is turned off. This will allow respondents to submit their answers anonymously.
    3. Share the Form:
      • Once your form is ready, click on "Share".
      • You can copy the link and share it with your students. Anyone with the link can submit their responses anonymously.

This method allows students to submit their concerns or questions without revealing their identity, and you can access all the responses in one place.

If the above information could give you a little help, would you please be kindly to vote or mark for my initial reply that will may help other community members who have the similar issue.

Thanks for your kindness and your understanding would be highly appreciated.

Wish you have a great day!

    Sincerely,

    Alex | Microsoft Community Moderator.

    Hi, Nico

    Good day!

Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are glad to assist you!

According to your description, for my understanding it is possible. Microsoft Teams does offer a way to allow anonymous questions, which can be very helpful in encouraging shy students to share their concerns without revealing their identity.

To enable anonymous questions in a Teams meeting, you can use the Q&A feature.

Here's how you can set it up:

    1. Set up Q&A:
      • Before the meeting, go to the meeting options in your Teams calendar.
      • Enable the Q&A feature by toggling it on.
    2. Allow Anonymous Questions:
      • During the meeting, open the Q&A pane.
      • Go to Q&A settings and turn on the "Anonymous posts" toggle.

This way, students can post their questions anonymously, and the questions won't be associated with their identities.

If you need more detailed instructions, you can refer to the Q&A in Microsoft Teams meetings - Microsoft Support.

Hope the above information may give you a little help. If it's convenient to you, would you please be kindly to vote or mark for my initial reply that will may help other community members who has the similar issue.

Or please feel free to tell us if you have any further questions.

Thanks for your kindness and your understanding would be highly appreciated.

Hope you all the best and wish you have a great day!

    Sincerely,

    Alex | Microsoft Community Moderator.

    Dear Alex,

first of all thank you for your fast and competent answer to my question!

Maybe I could do it this way, but this should not only be available for users who I invite in a teams meeting, but possible for everyone i give the adress/account to.

    With best regards
