Managing sound and video settings during Teams meetings and calls for optimal communication
Dear John Sullivan7,
Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.
To add audio conferencing to your Teams meeting, you need to have an Audio-Conferencing license. If you have this license, it is automatically included in Teams meetings. Then when scheduling the meeting, you should see an option to add a dial-in number and conference ID. This means that participants can join a Teams meeting using their computer audio, or they can dial in using a phone number provided in the meeting invite. See Join a meeting in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Support [d36a-44d1-e8c-aadc].
- In your Teams meeting, click on the "Show participants" icon in the meeting controls.
- Click on "Invite more people" at the bottom of the participants pane.
- In the "Invite someone" section, enter the phone number of the person you want to invite to the meeting.
- Click on "Call" to add the person to the meeting via audio conferencing.
If you don't have an Audio Conferencing license, you can purchase one from the Microsoft Teams admin center.
I hope this helps, please let me know if you need any further assistance from me. Please note that our initial response may not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution. Thank you for your help.
