I have a similar issue with my Teams application on Windows 11. The video suddenly stops midway into a meeting, and then the screen sharing stops working. Trying to leave and reopen the application does not word, the application hangs. It is so erratic and random that it's really frustrating.

Please provide some inputs on how I can resolve this.

    Thanks.

    Dear Paul Dodd2,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Based on your description, it sounds frustrating to have your camera shut down during important meetings.

    1. Have you checked the Camera Permissions by going to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy tab and select Camera and ensure that Microsoft Teams is checked?
    2. Have you checked to make sure your Safari browser is up to date? Go to Safari > Preferences > Updates.
    3. Sometimes, clearing the cache can help. Go to Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data and remove data for Teams.
    4. Have you tried resetting SMC (System Management Controller)?
      • Shut down your Mac.
      • Press and hold the Shift + Control + Option keys and the power button for 10 seconds.
      • Release all keys and the power button, then turn on your Mac.
    5. If the issue persists, try using a different browser like Chrome or Firefox to see if the problem is specific to Safari.
    6. Ensure no other apps are using the camera during the meeting time. You can do this by quitting all other apps that might be using the camera.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, please let me know and provide details like Teams and Mac versions for further. Please note that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution. Thank you for your help.

I have the same issue with my new computer using windows 11/ThinkPad,

At the beginning of the meeting the camera works. After 1-2 minutes it stops accidently and ask me to check the connection. If I try directly to turn it again, the call hangs for seconds and the camera will be turned on for 1-2 seconds then off again. This will keep happening for a couple of minutes. After a couple of minutes it works again.

Other colleagues in the office don't have this issue. Working on a different table doesn't solve the problem.
