Clearing Cache in "New" Teams for Mac

Hello,

Quick question that I was hoping to get some help on. With the "New" Teams app, was the cache folder location for the desktop app moved? Previously our organization always used the Microsoft Recommended cache clear for troubleshooting desktop issues.

  1. Quit Microsoft Teams.
  2. Open Finder and press Command+Shift+G.
  3. In the window that opens, enter ~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft and then click Go.
  4. Delete the Teams folder.
  5. Restart your device and launch Microsoft Teams again.

However, since users have started utilizing the "New" Teams app, it looks like those cache folders in "~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft" are no longer utilized? For example, after clearing my cache and relaunching teams, the folder structure was not rebuilt in the "Teams" folder, as it previously way.

I am not able to find any cache files for Teams to this date. I have reinstalled it, rebooted the Mac and no luck.

Already did a ls -R inside the Library folder, and no luck finding anything regarding Teams Cache.

I am trying to clear the cache files to fix the green screen issue when sharing an application.

    Teams version is 24335.207.3345.5574 (24335.207.3345.5574)

Mac OS version is Sequoia 15.2

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Here's an easy step by step with pictures and you don't have to use the terminal. This worked for me

I have followed these directions twice and it still keeps giving me an error message that I need to restart teams and I do it and still keep getting the error message. What can I do now?
